Pastor Erik Lund is dedicated to the preaching and teaching the saving truth of the Bible. His job is to be our shepherd. He strengthens and encourages us through the Word of God. If you find that you would like to speak to Pastor Lund about any trouble or problem or would just like to know more about us or the Bible, please feel free to do so.
The pastors that our national church body, the WELS (Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod), trains are well equipped in the Word of God. They attend four years at our synod’s worker training college in New Ulm, Minnesota, learning the original languages of the Bible and receiving a bachelor's degree in liberal arts. Pastor Lund received his bachelor’s degree in the classical languages (Greek & Hebrew) with a minor in confessional languages (Latin & German).
After college, Pastor Lund attended graduate school at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI. He received training in the arts of being a parish pastor and theologian, finishing with master of divinity degree. After graduation, pastors are assigned to a congregation within our synod. Pastor Lund was assigned to our congregation in May of 2023 and has been serving as our pastor since July 23, 2023.
